idun Posted June 13, 2011 Share Posted June 13, 2011 They say that you can use them for pastry, but as I have had so little luck with cakes in mine and mine is from that make that I usually rate very highly 'tefal', I don't think I'd risk it personally. idun Posted June 13, 2011 Share Posted June 13, 2011 PPP, maybe a pizza may take an oven at 300°c, but pastry and bread bake at around 200°-210°c. The yeast in bread needs to be killed fairly quickly by the heat when it starts baking and the heat I mention is hot enough.LOL if you put a cake in at 290°c it would be burnt like King Alfreds.[:-))] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
