Similar principle for weekend beach accomodation in chile.

Recipe: some tubular steel support, some chicken wire, some corrugated cardboard, some sand , some cement and a hired gunite machine.

Cost less than $ 500 .

Sort of upside down spherical swimming pool.[:)]

I saw several houses of this shape as I walked last year from the Pyrenees to the Pennines. Some much bigger than these.

And there is a whole estate of them in Hokitika, New Zealand, built in the 50s, when they were set to be all the rage.

Gosh I think these houses are fantastic ... what a good idea... somewhat similar to the Trulli of Italy. I would love one.
