Patf
I'm a bit boring and just make vanilla. But I once had some delicious mango ice cream, I think they just liquidised some ripe mangoes and mixed it into the cream mixture.

NormanH
Soak some prunes in Armagnac, and process them, or mash them . Make it with a good proportion of cream http://www.cuisine-campagne.com/index.php?post/2006/05/14/71-glace-au-pruneau-et-a-l-armagnac

Moriarty
A local restaurant serves a tomato and basil sorbet .... which is so refreshing and utterly delicious. Might be worth a bash in the summer!
Pads
Moriatv..... I was thinking about this yesterday as we had some thing simular given to us while we waited for our food in a resturant last summer on a very hot day , it was more like a frozen gazpacio (sp?) and so so tasty i may have to experiment . I think it will need a lot of reducing to make an intense flavour
NormanH
A restaurant near me puts a boule of tomato sorbet in the middle of a bowl of gazpacho...it avoids the 'watering -down' effect of ice cubes. Perhaps you could do the same with this suggestion?
