Pierre ZFP Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 I remember as a kid being taken by my Dad just to go and look at the Lovell telescope, just from the outside, you could get quite close back then. I must have been about 7 years old and couldn't work out where you looked through but to this day I remember being so impressed with the sheer size of the thing.
