Even though these are 'free' numbers for me now, I often go to 'say no to 0870' and then go to 'search for an alternative number'. Then you have a choice of typing in the 0845 number or in this case typing in HMRC. There is often an alternative, that is a basic land line number. The last time I called HMRC I used this number, 0044 135 535 9022 and asked to be put through to the department I needed to speak to, it worked for me.http://www.saynoto0870.com/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
