CBC65
Hello Forum.I have a last-minute question about declaring UK bank accounts on a tax declaration. Situation: I have a current account into which the few pennies of interest from a savings account, fixed-term savings accounts and a handful of shares are paid. Question: Do I need to declare all the accounts or just the current one as it is the only that has (tiny sums of) money paid into it?With many thanks.CBC65

powerdesal
Just a simple tip :- Make a note of all the opening dates you quote for accounts, some may have to be guesswork. You will need the same dates for next years 3916 form ( unless they change it again )
mint
Good tip, PD. Yes, I have a record of all the inaccuracies I put down[:P] I mean how on earth am I supposed to remember what date I opened an account that I have had for over 40 years?
anotherbanana
The dates might be on the tax form next year and save you having to do it again.Like Nimterooni I have an old account, opened in 1972. Is this a record?
