Chardie
Does anyone know exactly what documentation a seller needs to provide for the drawing up of the compromis? Its been over 2 months since we had our offer accepted but no compromis signed yet - apparently the immobilier is still waiting for all the details from the seller. (The house is empty and the seller doesn't live in France.)
Judie
The only documentation that is necessary is a copy of the title deeds.Judiehttp://www.vienormande.com
Jirac18
Some immobiliers will want the full cadastral plans from the seller and will not apply for them themselves. That may or may not be the case but may explain the delay. Do you know which notaire is involved. If so it may be worth an enquiry with them if the immo is avoiding getting back to you. Moorejw
The vendor also has to arrange for the asbestos, lead and termite searches to be carried out before the Compromis can be signed. This may contribute to the delay.John and Angie Moore (17)
