Respect for wild creatures, please!

Now, I don't mind calling someone old or silly or even ugly if the cap fits, even if I do get rottweilered for it, but I do draw the line at insulting wild animals. Thus, I must protest that one Vanessa Phlops, in another thread, should be compared to the mighty buffalo. This noble beast of the savannah and the wilds of London zoo is courageous, tough, protective of its own and above all svelte. In fact, one has never seen a fat buffalo, for such a creature would long have been taken by lions or hunters or both.

Now, if we must use comparisons for such people as Ms Vanessa Sveltes, then let us call her Cyril Smythian in her abundance, or, Billy Bunterian, and leave the animals to be what they are, beautiful.
