bubbles Posted June 6, 2010 Share Posted June 6, 2010 Google Shiply.It is in essence an auction site based in England.You have to give them a list of what you want moved and tell them where from and to.It's best if you can be a bit flexible with your dates.Then they pass on the info to various haulage companies who bid for your custom. The bidding starts high and gets lower and lower.We have just booked for various household things to be taken from Perpignan to East Anglia.The bidding started at £895 and at the time we thought it was fairly reasonable.After 5 days the bids had gone down to £325 and we booked. We think the price is amazing - especially since they will store the stuff for 10 days at the other end until we are ready to receive it.I would have been too scared but Shiply came recommended by friends.Have a look.
