Dragon
Hi,Can anyone tell me when a main residence has a time clause on it.We have just sold our main residence and have a small cottage which we plan on moving into for a few months. How long do you have to live in a property for it to be classed as Main Residence and therefore not subject to Capital Gains Tax?
Miki
I guess the simple answer is, from the minute you register at the tax office or indeed, "hand in" your first tax declaration at the Hotel des Impots.Miki
