woolybanana
Over the years one accumulates copper coins; locally my supermarket has a machine for counting them which then given a credit for the amount.Where can they be disposed of in the Uk, please? Patf
There's a container at Sainsbury's here, for copper coins to donate to the training of guide dogs.
andyh4
Any charity box will do - although Guide Dogs is a good one.Edited to add: You could hand them in a charity shop as well.

richard51
UK supermarkets (Morrisons anyway) also have those machines but charge a fee - 10% ish.Should think that a high street bank will do the same. don't know if fees apply though. Just bag them into £1 units say and take them in.
