YCCMB
They're all just as bad as one another. Even the Guardian says so.https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/dec/19/labour-mp-fiona-onasanya-guilty-of-lying-over-speeding-chargeYou'd think she'd have learned from Chris Huhne, but then I don't think either side of the political divide think the other has anything to teach them. And then there's Kate Osamor...combined household income of over 130k yet living in social housing. Nice spot of nepotism, employing her convicted drug dealer son as her parliamentary assistant, and in Haringey where there's a waiting list for social housing of eye watering proportions. Anyway...for the many, not the few, eh? Just in the interests of promoting equal opportunities disdain for politicians. Season of goodwill and all. Hoddy
Made worse by the fact that Osamor's mother is in the House of Lords.
woolybanana
Corbyn put her there deliberately with a brief to get rid of the Lords. As to her other qualities to sit there, cant think of any.
NickP
Kinnock and Prescott both said publicly "that the house of lords should be abolished". Although when offered the Ermine they couldn't put it on quick enough. Lovely jubbly, £300 per day for snoozing on a leather bench, subsidized meals and drinks. Socialist ideology out of the window unless they are telling others how to behave. LOL
richard51
Totally agree NickP. Glad to see you too are critical of the House of Lords spongers.
NickP
Yes Richard, I would prefer an elected body, instead of being rewarded like the one who was nominated after she declared that the Labour party wasn't antisemitic.
richard51
Perhaps she can put her legal mind to helping the tory partyhttps://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46641106Surprising that it hasn't got too much publicity.
