woolybanana
Allegations are surfacing that convicted paedophile Polanski raped a young actress in France a few years ago.It was noted today on the radio that actors had almost all withdrawn from media appearances in case they were asked to comment and programmes already recorded were pulled.Polanski has a new film on general release and has used the publicity for it to deny the allegations.Should one boycott the film, are media folk so scared of commenting that they have to run away, or is this a sign that the French media ia a male dominated law unto itself that has lived for far too long on public subsidy?Should France have sent the little runt back to the US to do his bird? woolybanana
Ooops, doing his bird is exactly what he was found guilty of!Anyway, it seems that the premiere in Paris was picketed by protesters who find him objectionable. Well done people. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2019/nov/13/paris-protest-disrupts-polanski-film-debut-over-accusations
