She came, she shouted, she waved her finger, she sailed the Atlantic, twice, but did she achieve anything? Did she make useful propositions, did anyone listen to her? Now she is personality of the year. Probably earned.

But what next for this Joan of Bergen, this Miss Savanarola, or is she now irrelevant?

Think the young will rally around her. She has the publicity - speaking at the UN and now at this conference.

Her speech, in my opinion, was measured and questioning that some countries seemed to decide to miss....would be interesting to know those countries.

Over time the young will grow old we will hove 'popped our clogs' so those aware of the environmental problems will become the majority and venture into politics.

Yes, but how can the young combat realpolitique, not just in Europe and the US but in the dictatorships of India, China, Brazil........?

You cannot, they are all an alien cabal allowing/encouraging climate change to terraform the earth to fit their races needs. By the time we humans realise this, it will be too late and they will land to take over, we are willingly speeding up our own demise.

How else do you explain those "in power" do nothing concrete to reverse the obvious trend. If they started selling coal powered SUVs, people would snap them up.

I like Greta. I think she is cool.

I bet she does not drive a 300 BHP Mercedes convertible whilst telling us all to save the planet.

I'm guessing David Attenborough does not drive a Ferrari to work.

Forget politicians, it is the small insecure people who tell us to save the planet but do the opposite.
