alittlebitfrench
Lehaut, going back a year or so I remember you saying that you changed the bulb on your Benq projector.Did you change only the bulb or change the bulb and it's holder ? Two different things I believe. My bulb is coming up for renewal. I have a Benq projector and I will need to change it soon.If if was not you then....forget what I said and have a nice day. Lehaut
Gosh, go away for a few days to enjoy the sea air in La Rochelle, get asked a question, have it answered and I never lifted a finger!
Lehaut
Oh, and did you get the 3D to work??
alittlebitfrench
Yes, 3D works perfectly. It is fantastic. The quality is as good as a cinema.i Love benq. My question really is, when your bulb blew...did it splinter glass everywhere ? Or did the bulb just blow ?Do you know what I mean ?The projector is right above the seating area.I am just worried for the kids when it blows.Should I change it before it blows ? Lehaut
Ours was upside down above where we sat when it blew. Spectacular noise, but no shards of glass rained down on us.If you are worried I would change it - €40 ish I think ours cost.Well done on the 3D, must admit I have given up on that and gone over to VR instead. Our Benq is soldiering on in our new abode, did better than the Onkyo amp which lost two of the three channels. alittlebitfrench
In order for the 3D to work, the projector screen needs to be 3D ready. It won't work if you are projecting onto wall for example.
