Shared bedrooms

In the uk there is a law that states that brothers and sisters cannot share a bedroom after a certain age , (not sure of the age but 11 springs to mind).
Is there such a law here in France, it wont affect us as we have girls,but it worries me that a few of our daughters friends aged about 11 share rooms with older brothers which I find a little worrying as the behaviour of these children is a bit provocotive!

I have often wondered this as we have a commune bungalow next to us with two bedrooms. Mum and live in lover sleep in one and son of nearly 13 and daughter of 11 share the other one (both have different fathers so its a right muddle). I said to the woman once will you be moving into a larger house on the estate when they are finished and she was adamant that it was not necessary but in my honest opinion I don't think it is at all healthy to have children of this age or older in the same room with no privacy for either of them to get dressed. I know my kids would go ballistic if we made them share a room.

Are you sure there is actually a law ? I shared your belief but when I commented about it, my cousin who was a magistrate specialising in family law, said it was a recommendation for councils when allocating council houses, I could be wrong but I seem to remember her saying that its not actually law.
