Ex Forum Admin
We are now running new forum software. For a run down of features that are changed go to the post bag and read the sticky. It should be running a little smoother now. There is currently no spellcheck facility at the moment.James

Liz
I agree, It is very small and in parts very faint, I have eye strain already. Someone said that you can alter settings by going into Settings but all I can find is some stuff about Blogs. Could someone please tell me how I can alter this?Liz (29)

Ex Forum Admin
Hi Christine,Post soince last visit is a bit different. If you go to http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/ and click on unread it will show the posts you haven't yet read. For posting a picture, the pic will need to be on the internet (as before) then when posting switch to the 'html' (not Design) at the bottom of the text box.In here you will need to input <img src="insert url of the picture">James
Christine Animal
Many thanks James, I shall try to see about the picture. But the unread brings out unread back in July, etc. not since last visit. We don't always want to read all the unread, just the ones of interest. How to we get rid of the ones we don't want to read [8-)]Sorry James and Merci !P.S. On looking at the Not Read Again, it seems the old ones are the stickies (right?), the others are in fact recent, but how do we delete the ones not of interest without having to read them? Sorry... scott hayes
The no of posts per user figure has been corrected and firefox users should now be able to click on the links at the top of the forums to Active, Unanswered, Not Read etc .RegardsScott

derf
The new software looks like a big improvement, even though I had to wait a couple of hours yesterday afternoon to be able to make a post, everytime I tried I got logged out, I expect it was, as another poster said, we had to wait for Teamedup to make the 1st post on the new siteI have just tried to reply to a post, I did a "preview" of my written text then clicked on "edit post" and all my text had been cleared, so I had to re-write the reply again, was it just a glitch? Christine Animal
Under members' profiles, we no longer seem to have "See all posts from this member", or is it me?Will be all right once we get everything sorted out, we're here, I have a few chewies ready for the teething problems... Millymollymandy
I thought you were off the air as I couldn't get into the forum through my favourites. Just had to do a search for Living France in Google.
