Deimos Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 There is a forum bug – certain characters are allowed in a“display name” which are not supported elsewhere. Such characters include &, +, etc. thus a username Dei&mos is quite acceptable. However, try and quote a post fromDemi&mos and you will get an “unmatched quote block erroe due to the [quoteuser=”Dei&mos”]. Remove the &from the Dei&mos and it works fine. Might be a bug in its quoted string handling. Whatever – it’s a bug that means you cannot quote posts from someusers.Ian Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
