Debra Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 I wanted to search on a subject I have posted on previously but nothing came up on the search. Next, I searched on my user id - and that search found 7 posts for me! So I went into the search where you can actually put a user id in - to find nothing under my name at all. I found the post eventually by trawling through the relevant section, but that's not a lot of use if you can't remember which section the post was in! What's going on??????? Ex Forum Admin Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 You should be able to search on keywords using the advanced search feature. Unfortunately you won't be able to search on usernames because of the way the forum is set up (moved across from the old sytstem), the username is actually the email address of the user. Ex Forum Admin Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 As I said, it is because when we migrated from the old system to the new one, we had to use the email addresses for the usernames. We couldn't give access to email addresses due to security. I have asked the developer and when the upgrade is available we should be able to change this.
