Will originally posted about the icons at the side of posts. These ones

Has getting rid of them been forgotten?[;-)]

Looks like you have cut and pasted the ones from the bottom, instead you just need to select them from the drop down box called: Insert Smiley

I took it that Will meant the post icons on threads themselves, not the indicator of new posts etc. They would be more difficult to remove as they are integrated within the software.
