When she died it became mine with no problem or delay.If your only other French assets are a car and furniture, I wouldn't bother. If you have thousands of euros in the bank, then seek advice. Also, with property values seemingly increasing, tontine is not always the best way of sorting out one's affairs as there is a property value limit when using tontine.........had your notaire explained this.
