Cassis
Is anyone else experiencing delays in sending posts? It's taking ages for messages to load but otherwise my Internet connection and page loading speeds seem fine for this and other sites.Phil

Cassis
It seemed to go on work-to-rule yesterday evening, as you say, Christine. Should we tell anyone in charge? Whom?[blink]Phil

ali-cat
It's driving me mad!! I posted earlier - it seemed not to work - so I hit "post", again. The post then appeared twice. Serves me right for not having a little more patience!!
Russethouse
My last post was very slow so I hit preview and then 'post' - a message popped up to say that the system is configured to not accept duplicate posts !!!!PS Using 'Preview' then 'post' is quicker ! Kitty
Crickey - what is happening? Everything has been so slow since yesterday (Tuesday) evening - just when I needed answers to some questions posted. Eeeeekkkkk.....Now that lots of people are posting photographs/graphics etc in the text (not just the avaters - can't remember how to spell that word), would this slow things up? Gardian
I didn't post that twice ! (Just as well I didn't make some sarcy comment yesterday about DottyTrois's treble effort, not that the thought ever crossed my mind).Tis all up the creek just now. Adieu .............. forever. Dick Smith
It isn't graphics or avatars, because the problem isn't just in downloading messages. I waited 2 minutes after clicking on 'reply' for the reply pane to appear. That looks like a server problem. Again.

Cassis
Is there an echo in here? I keep seeing double postings! Or did I overdo it last night? [B][B]Yes, it's still horribly slow. I may have to go and do some work instead .....Phil
ali-cat
It seems to me that opening a page, with a lot of posts, takes longer then a page with just one or two replys. Could be wrong, as I'm also having to wait an eternity for the post & preview buttons to work. Know how it feels thought - I'm not moving too fast myself this week!!
