Suninfrance
Why am I getting my posts twice - is there a "blip" on the website?
Cassis
Do you mean your email notifications? I get that regularly. It comes and goes. No idea why.
Suninfrance
Yes - I do mean e-mail notifications. Haven't had the double ones for a while - perhaps the server for the website is starting New Year celebrations early !!!!!

Russethouse
It sometimes happens to me too - I had the pet theory that the posts I got twice were from Mac users on the rather flimsy connection that when Mac users send me jpegs I get two, one which refuses to open. But then I'm 'low tech' [:)]
Dick Smith
The Mac organises files rather differently from Windows, so what you are seeing is the file itself (which you can open) and a metafile which contains data about the file, which you can't. You may see that the metafile name begins with a period. It doesn't apply on forums, where no Mac files are created.
