groslard Posted December 31, 2007 Share Posted December 31, 2007 Apparently some people felt that my signature, which had the capacity to tell you where you are connecting from was in some way a problem of Privacy.In fact, there is no invasion of Privacy, as it is simply a reflection of theinformation every site gathers about the people browsing it. Every time you log on to a site that information, and a lot of other stuff is immediately available. (such as your IP, Browser, OS etc) In some ways I would maintain that it is a salutary warning!Although it showed the reader something about location, I stress that I could not see that information; each person received a different reflection, as with a mirror.
