Dog
I could knock you one up but it would cost.It does make the forum look cheap - are the techies in Archant too lazy or unskilled?Hands up if you needed to google what a favicon is?I herewith start the France Forum needs a favicon campaign. Théière
It could use more work than that but OK I say yes
Bugsy
Whats wrong with Bookmarks ? does virtually the same job.Personally I'd prefer some attention to getting Safari to function fully and a fix for the slowing down bug that seems to kick-in on a regular basis.. Dog
I made one for my brothers company a few months ago - I gave him the choice of twenty and he is now happily faviconed.
Chancer
Hands up if you needed to google what a favicon is?
My hands are up, only I dont want to google, why wont you tell me what one is?If you can tell the world that you used to earn £75 per hour surely explaining what it is you want me to join your campaign for should not be difficult. Will
I'm sure it used to have one, when it was just Living France.

Chancer
Yeah and how is it that a free forum can look cheap, that £10 per hour for a voluntary retiree who wants to escape the monetary materialist rat race is derisory (because he used to earn £75) when most of the working population of France are on less than that and stlil have to cow-tow to the banks? Its a funny world! Now what is a favicon? woolybanana
We have Dog, so why do we need another favicon? He is our favourite one.

There is a some skill in producing a memorable image at so low low a resolution.I never said I earned £75 per hour that's what I offered to charge the bank for my time for sorting out their problem.I explained to the bank that was a heavily discounted rate. I would have charged more if I was in business. This seems to be preying on your mind - what's the problem?

Will
The mod/admin team seem to be in hiding, so I'll try and give a serious answer to the question. Many of the sister Archant Specialist mags have one - e.g. http://www.canalboat.co.uk/. On the other hand, none of the France-related mags do.When you go to any of the magazine forums, the favicon disappears. My guess is that this is because all of the forums share common databases.
