cooperlola
....do people get when one alters a post? I was just editing a post because I'd spelt something wrongly and I also didn't like something about the way I'd written a couple of phrases. Now I do this a lot - not usually to change the sense but just to improve the way my posts read and to tweak them a bit. It occured to me that maybe those who get post notifications get one every time I edit. Is this the case or are the notifications just for new posts? Not very important really, just interested - am I flooding some people's inboxes just because I'm not satisfied with my composition and spelling? AnOther
I do the same sometimes coops but I'm sure it's only new posts which trigger a notification.Notifications can be changed in your profile (click your user name at the top of the page), it's very last option on the page. Russethouse
As far as I'm aware editing does not trigger a new post notification.
