idun
I keep getting the following message when I try and open some PDF files mainly french, but some UK ones too. Runtime Error!Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\explore.exeAbnormal program termination. I have looked this up on the web and tried a few things, in fact I feel like I am now chasing my tail and cannot remember what I've done and have not. Is there a simple way to sort this out please????

Rabbie
I have had the same problem on one of my PCs with IE8, Windows XP and Adobe Reader 10.1. The problem only occurs with a pdf file downloaded from a website. It works fine when accessed with Google Chrome. No problems on my other PC using Windows 7, IE 9 and same version of Adobe Reader. idun
We have windows XP and Adobe reader 9. I have just been looking through everything yet again. And I've yet again checked the web, I did notice that someone said to get rid of the google toolbar and that helped them. I am just about at that point now. Problem is that I need to read some of the things on the french impot site and cannot at the moment, so it is important, only 12 days to go to get the return in.
