Russethouse
It's promoting a celebration publication, since Archant provide the forum FOC I suspect I putting up with an ad for one of their products kind of goes with the territory.
Pickles
Was this an advert or in the "ticker"? Must admit that I haven't seen this at all in either ... I'm running Adblock on Firefox though ...
YCCMB
It's certainly visible to me on my iPad, so I don't think the choice of hardware is a factor.

Rabbie
Well I can't see it on my iPad. This may vary according to which model of iPad you have and the version of the browser. I didn't know what everyone was talking about to start with! Still don't exactly.Angela
As said in two previous posts it doesn't show on iPad. It is an advert for a celebratory magazine about the Royal Baby as you might guess. It sells for what some royalists might consider the bargain price of £9.99.
YCCMB
Actually, on a point of order, it's as said in only one previous post, cos I can see it just fine on mine. Current iPad score is therefore 2-1 in favour of those blessed with no advert.Maybe it does matter which iPad you have, but why would it? Mines a big beefy 32GB one, so maybe it'll just download anything whether I want it or not?

YCCMB
Nope, I'm ok with Safari, RH. although I forget just how invasive all the ads are when I'm confined to the iPad for a month or so. May bung on another browser when I'm back and have a decent Internet connection.
