Alexis
Happened on Sunday afternnon. Either 3.6 or 3.9. (Can't remember as didn't buy paper.) We didn't feel it here, not like the last time at Hennebont.
Evianers
We were house-sitting in Geneva last year in September when a large earthquake hit the surrounding area, as much as 6.1 on the Richter scale. The whole house shook, the dog was very distressed, all the ornaments and plants rattled around on the shelves: rather worrying when one is looking after a luxurious property whilst the owners are in South Africa! But no damage, only shock and disbelief with banner headlines the following day in the media.
Phoenix
A couple of years ago there were two tremors , epicentre in the Blavet valley north of Lorient , 6.5 on the richter scale !, according to the neighbours , they hadn`t had one for 40 years previously , so perhaps there is a bit of activity at present, the local painter had us in stitches, describing his experiences up a ladder at the time .... say no more , we were also told there is a scientific monitoring unit in Quistinic somewhere , and have been promised a visit next time we are over.Regards,Jude
