Russethouse
This year the Quimper Club (see below) is meeting in Bath. The group (mainly Americans, some French) will be visiting Wells Cathedral, the 16th century home of an English member and Montacute House (Elizabethan). To put these places in context I thought it would be fun to put together a 'Time Line' with important dates from French, American and English History. So what dates, esp from French History, would you be sure to mention ?Gayhttp://www.quimperclub.org/

Cjb
You may find Mark Steel's "Vive la Revolution" really useful as it takes a very original and ammusing look at French history, and obviously the significance of the revolution itself.http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/026-7415672-3916428Chris
