Cjb
Here in (06) there are many British parents whose children are enrolled in French schools. Amongst these parents many seek private English tuition for their children as they are concerned that their children's written English will suffer. I'd be interested to know how other parents have coped with this and whether it has indeed presented a problem. I'm certainly not touting for work as I've recently found a job and as an expectant father have the feeling that I'm going to be running a little short on spare time in the not too distant future!!Chris
Musicmonkey<ADDRESS><STRONG>Musicmonkey<STRONG><ADDRESS>
It does at least seem to be the case in reverse! At my French AS and A2 class we had a couple of french girls who had moved to England a few years previously. They had a lot more trouble finding French vocabulary and working out grammar structure than you would expect.Of course, their spoken French was excellent. I would imagine the same happens for British children living in France.
