Millymollymandy
Don't think the internet existed when I came to France.
Val_2
No internet in those days and the only computers were in offices, certainly not in vast quantities in private homes like today. We had an old Commodore 64 for playing games only.
Musicmonkey<ADDRESS><STRONG>Musicmonkey<STRONG><ADDRESS>
Yes, feel privileged to have found this site before purchase of maison secondaire. It was very helpful then (nearly two years ago), as it continues to be now, though at times somewhat less friendly than when we first discovered it. Hoddy
We did. It helped enormously when we were looking for a house. At least I knew the basics of house buying/owning in France before we started.I feel an enormous debt of gratitude to many posters, some of whom have left us, for all sorts of advice.Hoddy
Racerbear02
We certainly did, was very useful in sorting out a lot of the trivia prior to relocation. Also provided us with our UK solictor, Matthew Cameron, who was invaluable to us.
