The Byards
Can anyone advise how long we can expect to wait for change of use permission on a barn conversion. We signed and paid our deposit in October and we were advised that we would probably complete before the end of the year. We are still waiting! We have been advised by the agent outline planning has been granted on the conversion, but the authority has decided to instigate plannng for the garden up the road as well.Has anyone had a similar experience? AnnH
I am lead to believe that it can take up to 2 months (I live in dept 53) so you should have heard by now. Ask your estate agent to chase them up.
BJSLIV
has decided to instigate plannng for the garden up the road as well. What are you doing to the garden up the road? or what does the council think you mightl be doing? Is the land part of your proposed purchase?
Anton Redman
Two to Six months in the Haute Vienne. The fairly recent changes where CUs were required but there was no increase in number of staff working in that area also did no good to speed of response.
