Get a bad life !

We have received this email on two occasions recently. This one arrived this morning.

Do you think the French are trying to start a new series to combat the wave of Brits opening B&B's, my thoughts are that they are even going to have subtitles and sell the series to Ch 4 or BBC 2

To be fair to others and it was has been raised that one should tell everyone what French messages are saying.

OK, this is saying that these TV people are seeking families people who work together in a cottage or B&B type affair. They probably want to know just how nasty it gets for the family, due to working together all the time ( bit of poetic licence there !) and want to know the  effects on private and family life and if you are at all concerned about it, call them and more will be explained. If you don't want to take part then can you give them the name of someone else who fits the bill.

Well, well, perhaps they will show a new series after this one, like "A place in the Sarf UK"

TU,

We won't have to act like Basil & Sybil I can tell you !! Funny things is, Tina and I had reason to do business (long story) at the Hotel (it had long been closed as a regular hotel for a fair while by then) where the opening exterior scenes were filmed.

Margaret, I think the French may have a little more diplomacy on this type of progarmme, not a lot perhaps and things certainly are changing on the box but they will probably want to make it in to an "etude" rather than a badly edited documentary.

We have known quite a few French in this business and believe me the figures, at a rough guess, are about 25% divorced or seperated,  be warned !!

I look forward to seeing it shown on the TV, some time in the Autumn perhaps.
