Cecilcaterpillar
I found out today that the price of uk stamps to europe will be increasing tomorrow from 40p to 42p. however the ones marked with 'E' are still valid after then. I stocked up for my future correspondance to France over the next year
Fantine

Susie
Recent changes going the other way too.In France a 50c stamp used to be good for upto 40g with-in France and 20g to the UK.Now it is 53c to post up to only 20g with-in France and 55c to the UK for the same weight. Therefore buying a bulk supply of standard 'all-purpose' stamps is no good anymore
Val_2
Yes,I mentioned this fact some weeks ago when I used up a supply of franked envelopes from the supermarket as I have done for a long time now to send invoices to the UK and they all came back with insufficient stamps onthem. Over 20g the costs get quite hefty now. I sent a packet weighing 632g to the UK containing a couple of light presents and that cost 8€ or could have gone economy for 5€,the value of the goods was only 30€.
