Anton Redman
We have a Narrow 60cm, Short 80 cm Tumble Dryer which just fits into the end of our fitted kitchen under the stairs. It has just broken its drive belt. Has anybody ever found a small tumble dryer in France ?We have checked the usual French Hypermarkets, Electric Goods Outlets and online without success. Not urgent as I can source spares in UK at start of May or failing that buy a new dryer.Kitchen currently resembles either 'Rainbow Valley' or 'A Valley Partially Obscured By Clouds'
Mikew
What about taking the remains of the belt to a motor spares place, these drive belts seem to be similar, you just might get one the same size!.....Mike
Weedon
If its a V type belt try a mower repair shop, take the broken bits with you for a pattern. As a temporary solution rather than an old stocking you will have to use a leg from a pair of tights but cut the gusset off cos it makes a noise when it goes round the pulleyweedon
