Franglais24
Hi,I'd like to hire a car in the UK and at least one firm mentions that non-UK residents might have CDW (collision damage waiver insurance) of their own, which saves you having to buy theirs. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to be looking for, phrases etc? Might it be included in our house or car insurance, or on our Credit Agricole debit card???F24
Hagar
It might ( I say might) be on the CA debit card.I have two different credit cards that cover this.rgdsHagar
Richard-R
My Amex covers me for this, not sure about my CA card but i think it comes with travel insurance so it may well have CDW cover. There may be excluded countries. I have a mastercard ( Chase) issued on my U.S. bank account that does not cover most Europen countries for CDW.
