Sprogster
Is it my imagination, or has the forum recently been less active than it once was?If so, is one possible reason that higher interest rates and the current stagnation of UK property prices is finally having a knock on effect on Brits buying property abroad?Or is it that with Australia, New Zealand and Canada making immigration to those countries easier in recent months, due to wide ranging skill shortages, Brits are once again chasing the Aussie and Kiwi dream? Patf
I've noticed that the Postbag hasn't been getting as many contributions as it used to do. Other forums, more just for information, are still quite busy. The Postbag tended to get the controversial subjects which made it more exciting or more offensive, depending on your point of view. At one time a few people suggested that if you want to get rid of all the arguments and personal criticisms just close down the Postbag forum. But you might be right about fewer people being interested in moving to France.Pat.
Russethouse
I think the winter months are often busier on the forum - people can find plenty to do on pleasant, light evenings rather than post here. I have to say the post bag was pretty busy over the weekend though..............
Patf
Gay - yes I saw the action on a reactivated thread - now deleted. Even that aggressive terrier re-emerged to have a go. Pat.
