Geranium
We have recently received service beyond the call of duty from an insurance broker and an insurance expert. We'd like to say thank you but taking them out for a meal would be a little awkward due to our ineptitude in french (OK for the market but not 2 hours at the table!). What would be a suitable token of our appreciation? We travel back and forth quite a bit.
Deby
An Aperootherwise known as an aperitif.Just a few crisps, olives, saucisson and something someone has made, by husband or wife - or even something typically english (cucumber sandwiches). It is a very french thing to do and avoids the long drawn out french dinner. You can make the Apero as long and short as you like. 30 mins to all evening. But usually comes to a close when everyone has run out of things to say. Ian Hoare
All the best
Ian
La Souvigne Corrèze
http:www.souvigne.com
Hi,How about a bottle of really good Malt Whisky. It's pretty fashionable in France, and if you get one of the obscurer ones, impossible to find here.
