Teamedup Posted May 31, 2005 Share Posted May 31, 2005 Inflation since the euro has been mentioned on the tv during this last week. And 6.5% was mentioned, which I think seems rather a lot. Maybe that is right, some things seem to have gone up rather a lot.Does anyone know where I can find out what inflation really has been since the euro. I know that INSEE, provide the govt stats. A few months after introduction of Euro the can of coke had increased to 2Euros.Clearly not 6.5%! They have bent a few Euro laws to exclude certain items from the index to fudge there numbers for the rules governing the membership to the Euro. 6.5% seems fair to me.
