Mark & Sam Posted May 6, 2005 Share Posted May 6, 2005 Hi All,Sam & I bought our French Chalet in the Alps (73) just over a year ago. The Chalet was a new-build and needed finishing off. We have installed a poelle, put up guttering, put doors in etc.... and are organising a double garage to be built this summer. Can we claim anything back from the system?We heard that if you use a registered artisan there can be some cash-back? BJSLIV Posted May 6, 2005 Share Posted May 6, 2005 if you use a registered artisan there can be some cash-back......I think you be thinking about the scheme wherby if you use a registered trader VAT is paid at the lower rate of 5.5% rather than the full 19.6%.
