So what do you read?

It is hard to put your finger on it but there is a “so what paper do you read”?  question running through this forum.

 

There is a cartoon in Private Eye titled ‘The seven pages of man’. (geddit?)

1^st is The Dandy – Dennis the Menace.

2^nd is the Sun - page 3.

3^rd is The Times – sports headlines.

4^th is The Guardian – comment and analysis.

5^th is the Telegraph – leader.

6^th is The Daily Mail – letters to the editor.

7^th comes the local evening news – births, marriages and deaths.

 

Being in my 50s this works fairly well for me. I worry about the next decade as “Daily Mail reader” is a term of abuse on this forum.

 

How does it work for you?

 

And how would ‘The seven pages of woman’ work. Starting with Jackie, moving on to Roxy…

Don't know about starting with Jackie.  I think I would plump for June and Schoolfriend as a first.  Then Jackie.  Don't know Roxy but how about a pop one?  What was there?

Do you remember Weekend?  Best cartoon I have seen.  I'll remember the name of the cartoonist in a year or two.
