Disabled Toilets and Disabled Facilities

In three weeks time I am taking my disabled mother over to France for a holiday. And whilst we have booked accommodation that is classed as being suitable for disabled.

I was wondering if there is anybody who can advise me regarding disabled toilets and other disabled facilities being available

There are toilets especially for the disabled where the toilet facilities are up-to-date. There is disabled parking but you must dsplay your blue card which is valid all over Europe. Pat.

When I am out-and-about I use either my wheelchair or electric scooter. Most restaurants pose a problem. It is not that the French are insensitive but because most buildings just can't be modified due to their architecture. Most public toilets do NOT have accessablity. Newer supermarkets do, malls do.

Wish I could be more positive.
