Evianers
Posted this on the Chambres d'Hote section, but many more are likely to see it in the postbag, so here is a repeat and TIA in advance for any responses. We are, as many know, the owners of a property in Evian but cannot get into our house because it is on a long-term rental. Ergo, from time to time we need to go to sort out one or two problems and have been looking in vain for a Chambre d'Hotes in the area. Nothing, which is why we were thinking of starting this very idea once we finally move there. However, having read some of the comments about guests and their antics, we are now somewhat wary. Is there anywhere in the Evian/Thonon area that anyone can recommend please?
Jon 1
We will be passing through this area, so would also be interested. Any nice restaurants you can recommend?
Evianers
In the middle of the Rue Nationale, in a small square, tucked away in the corner, is a restaurant - can't for the life of us remember the name as it is some 10 years ago now - which produces the most fantastic Fondue Savoyade speciality of the house. Just the thing for a cold, wet evening...
