maconnaisemaconnaise
Can I have some ideas please of the rental value of a field (quarter ha) for grazing horses. According to equine world UK the rate is about £10 per week. Looking in the archives here 30 euros a year was mentioned!

Mlonghurst
I think that 30 Euros a year is actualy quite generous. We farm over in the Allier with 32Acres and rent an additional 5 Acres from freinds. The rate for rental is officialy set by SAFER and we pay 30 Euros a year for 5 Acres.Rgds, Mike L
IAN_S
We paid €45 2 years ago for 1 ha for horse grazing, then got to know the farmer who now won't accept any payment. I'm not sure why, but it maybe from a legal standpoint.
Renaud
As I understand it, if you pay to use a field then you become a tennant and have certain rights. If the money involved is tiny then it is far better not to accept payment.
