I assume that the Active, Unanswered, Not Read, ... at the top of the Forum Index should be links. For me they are not clickable.

How strange! I see what you mean though - they're clickable in IE, but not Firefox.

It must be a problem with the site's CSS or skin as they work fine on other instances of the forum system (in Firefox).

I'll ask the developer to sort in the morning.

The posts aren't in order : I mean posts made yesterday are ahead of posts made today.

I wasn't 'redirected' to completefrance.com etc etc as promised - I had to come in through the LF website.

Good grief, i've just seen all the emoticons; aaaarrrggggghhhhh. I can't work out how to put the only one I like so far into the message.

I've been credited with about 1500 more posts than i've really made!

Tresco, Go to 'Edit your details' right at the top of the page, click on your name and that will bring up some options including the appearance of the site.

AFAIK to get the smiley in the post, click where you want it, scroll down in the Insert Smiley box and chose the one you want then click on it [*-)] Hope that works !!!

Given the number of posts today and the number of people viewing the forum, I would say that people are having trouble logging in. I had to re-set my password 4 times before it would work.

How will we know if there's a new post in each forum? At the moment all

the symbols at the side of each forum are the same. I like this font to

use when making replies - very clear. Pat.

I like the new format although I was not that unhappy with the old one being a bit easy going.  At least now I can see who the postman/girl is and I also now have a search facility[B] cheers.

Peter, On the first page, top left you should have headings ' Active, Unanswered, Not Read, My forums, Private messages'

Do they help ? I am still exploring the site myself so hope thats the right answer !

Definite improvement. 

A few very trivial “oddities”.  For

example the “Sports Leisure and Pastimes” is not showing latest post info in

the main forum page (but that might just be because nobody has posted there yet

under the new system).  Similarly, the

Rich text editor for posts has a couple of trivial oddities (e.g. if you cut

and paste some formatted text from e.g. MS word, some paragraphs will take the

formatting, others wont and those bits that do cannot be re-formatted).  However, these are absolutely trivial and it

is a great improvement over the previous system (e.g. even being able to format

text in non-IE browsers without having to write the HTML).

Positive feedback – compliments and well done all.

A couple of things.  Firstly, I don't mean to be stupid but I can't find the spellcheck buttttoooooon on this reply page.

Secondly, Some of my posts have come up with annonymous as the author.  Hope i've spelt that right.

Thirdly, Can't find button with 'since last visit' not that it ever appeared to work on the old format.

And I have just thought of a fourth, sorry. Its gone.  Maybe when I've had another glass of wine I will remember.

On a positive note, I think its much kinder on the eye.  Dotty (in case it says annomyyy, whatever)

Just remembered the Fourth, the wine definately helps.  The time the posts are made.  Has this site always been on GMT or am I missing something.  Maybe I've had a glass too many?
