Is it worth complaining?

First week of December I had a letter from UK inland rev. Agreed my return for 2004/2005 and here is a rebate. Next day ,letter from same office, we have not had a tax return for 2004/2005?Letter sent,no reply.

Pensions office sent me a computer readout of my Nat.Ins. payments,2 days later another readout with 6 different figures for some years and 2 years missing? Letter sent, no reply.

Halifax.B.Soc. Pleae transfer 5bob S.A.P. After 2 weeks, phoned[not recommended unless you want a heart attack ] letter not received? Fax sent, please confirm receipt. No Reply.When I eventually via many phone calls spoke to the branch manager,[a lady but don't call her Manageress ] she actually asked if I wanted FRANCS!!!Letter sent to Head Office, no reply.

Wanadoo have taken over 100euros EXTRA from our bank account on 3 occasions.Copied all statements and my Wanadoo contract,sent to head office,no reply

I sent my daughter in UK a cash cheque.Pay cash to bearer with name etc plus a note saying take passport or something into the branch.Sorry ,can't draw cash on these cheques any more.Phoned the branch number,[as advertised on the TV for Nat West ] Don't try it unless you want another heart attack.Wrote to the Manager,no reply..

My wife won £100 of L.A.P.A.D.A. vouchers , just arrived by registered post.£200?Letter just sent informing them of the error.I expect we'll get a reply!!

I hope this may brighten someone's day, I have now given up all hope of getting even an acknowledgement from anyone.

Yes it is worth complaining. What a serie noire you have been having though. Good luck.

 

And I would be writing to all these folks by registered post and getting a receipt. Being a good yorkshire woman, I would get someone trustworthy in the UK to send them all by this method and cut down on costs.
