Le Petomane
Dicksmith, you won't change le Bouffon's views by abusing him/her. Nick Griffin is a Cambridge graduate and well able to look after himself, but he forms a focus for people like le Bouffon who see in him a spokesman for all their pent-up grievances, which probably range from immigrants to welfare-scroungers to flogging thugs. Other people's views won't go away because you(or I) sneer at them. Un sot trouve toujours un plus sot qui l'admire. As a teacher you should know that any classroom proves this. Dick Smith
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out-- because I was not a communist; Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out-- because I was not a socialist; Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out-- because I was not a trade unionist; Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- because I was not a Jew;Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak out for me.Martin Niemoller

Dick Smith
"My god how old is that one"Dates back to the last time the fascists were in power - or are you a holocaust denier as well?If you really can't understand it I pity you.

Dick Smith
OK - I'll take your drivel seriously. Why do you think I am either a communist or a communist sympathiser? When did I deny Communist atrocities? In fact, what do you know about me at all with all your infantile postings?I, on the other hand, know that you are an NF sympathiser.I challenge you to say who you are. Were you Outcast, Mr O etc?I am not the only forum member sick and tired of your imbecilic postings - perhaps you should think about how much support your rantings get. le bouffon
Well, for such a statement as to know what I am sympathetic to,would you could you post any proof to that fact?Would you say that Le Pen as no right to stand for election or even that people have the right to vote for him, well would you?and tell if ever he(unlikely,as he older than you)got elected, would that than be your cauchemar?OH and ps 17.5% of the french. Le Petomane
Yes, Niemoller was right, but you speak out against the idea, not the man. Arguments ad hominem will always fail, partly because the idea outlives its advocates. Although the world rose up and stopped the bastard, the bitch that bore him is in heat again. (Brecht).(I've just noticed that this ultra-sensitive chatroom has censored Brecht's words. The first word rhymes with plastered and the second with hitch). Dick Smith
Not sure about that. Avoiding ad hominem is OK for Average Joe, but for Mussolini? Hitler? Stalin? When you have knowledge of their activities?I think the buffoon is the one using ad hominem, I argue from precedent.
Tresco
Nick Griffin is a Cambridge graduate This is something that makes me laugh, because of his emphasis on 'anti-intellectualism'. Maybe this is due to the fact that his expensive education didn't teach him enough to stay out of the courts much more than the time it takes his last suspended sentence to lapse. Will
I don't really see the relevance of Mr Griffin and the BNP to France. This forum is non-political and we support neither right-wing, left-wing or centre views. In any case, even the more extreme factions in British right wing politics look pretty liberal compared with their equivalents in France, which by all accounts enjoy a considerably higher level of support among the locals. le bouffon
Will, you are right it as very little do with France, anyone posting something like the heading of this title will know what they are doing and like in all things some agree and some do not, thats life.ps gay says that there is to be a re-trial,no there maybe a re-trial it is up to the attorney general and not the BBC. Miki
Something is not quite right here, who is actual writing LeBouffon's script during this contretemps ? Indeed is he even theman behind it ? It doesn't take a genius to see it is old bouffies thoughts butfor sure, it isn't his hand typing ! Is the chap being set up or/and,is everyone else being wound up ?Oh and not to feel left out, this arrived with the news:A retrial was confirmed last night by the Crown Prosecution Service, CPS not BBC you'll notice !! Mind you, it is certainly not rare for the CPS to drop cases when it suits, so........................

le bouffon
One may be wrong here but hypothetically speaking it is not against forum rules to re-apply for membership whatever the circumstance but to mislead is,therefore do not hold your breath.Dicky you may prefere to walk around in your underpants but I think it`s a bit cold! Tony F Dordogne
I went through this with Forum Admin at the end of last year.It seems that people can be banned and then re-enter and so long as they don't break the rules again, stay subscribed. No point in banning them in the first place then really, seems new name equals a new way of thinking by the miscreant to FA.
