Furry Knickers
Farmer Villeroy gives me a cup of chickens milk every morning when I am in me wooden house in Normandie, I have it in me tea and in me mashed spuds, is it safe to keep using it now with all this hen51 going about in France? I have stopped eating birds over there but I do love a drop of the milk in me tea of a morning. I would not like to offend farmer Villeroy by rejecting his little cup of milk either, so what should I do? I wish the bird flu away!

Christine Animal
Weedon
If the farmer tells you he is too busy, but help yourself, be sure you know exactly which ones are the hens. If you don't know it is the ones being coy and fluttering their eyelashes. If you find yourself being dragged through the coop, let go of the ankles, you have either misread the signals and grabbed Giles or that particular hen doesn't do that on the first date. weedonApologies to Giles everywhere. Furry Knickers
Thanks for the recipe Mrs Animal, I shall try that next week if I can get me hands on farmer Villeroy's coconuts! It's funny how many farmer Giles are knocking about Burt! Farmer Giles is even rhyming slag now! Me girlfriends Mammy has a touch of the Farmer Giles at the moment! mind you, they are not as bad as them plates of mice!

If you say Beer Can it sounds like a West Indian saying bacon. There is not much to do around here on a Sunday afternoon.weedon

Furry Knickers
There was a song by The Sweet in the 70's about coconuts too! I rememember learning a lovely song at school in County Kildare about a lovely yellow bird, it went............Yellow bird up high in banano tree, yellow bird grab a banano just for me, then we shall fly away off to a sunny bay.......It was a grand owl song, very like a song that Dana might sing.Have you cut the grass yet Burt? you can wash the car and paint your fence and put up a shelf for your wife or mistress. Make sure it's secure enough to take the weight of whatever one you put on it though! Imagine if your mistress fell off your shelf and landed on your wife! How would you explain that? The Riff-Raff Element
Bloke I was at university with sustained a broken collar bone andconcussion after being hit by a coconut somewhere in the Indian ocean. On the same holiday his girfriend was hospitalised when a large kitelanded on her (I am not making this up). How unlucky can you get? Thepair of them arrived back in the UK wrapped in bandages and none of uswould believe them until they showed us copies of the medical reportsthey needed for insurance purposes. Even then I didn't: I still thinkit was the result of a poorly timed and overly energetic amorous actcoupled with an unstable and poorly constructed hotel balcony. I've noproof though. Christine Animal
I came all the way back here yesterday to find the Poulet au Lait de Coco recipe. The other day in Intermarché, Melle I saw tins of lait de coco (they also had malt vinegar, by the way, which you don't see often). I bought some lait de coco and last night did this recipe. It is very good. You should try it Jond, even if you use duck instead...I am starting to miss Weedon and FK... I hope they haven't "clicked off".
Teamedup
CA Leader Price do their own coconut milk in tins and it is cheaper than anywhere else I have bought it from. I use it in quite a few recipes.
