Tresco
I hope so.Eta say that's it. No more violence, they will now be pursuing different means of achieving their aims. I wonder whether the area will go through the whole peel off splinter groupsthing that happened after the IRA made a similar announcement. Pity they don't have an equivalent to Sinn Fein. I'm assuming that, because if they do, they could have made their announcement without wearing full face masks. The masks are sending a horribly contradictory messagehttp://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4832672.stm
Russethouse
Just had a quick read and I can't help wondering that as they seem to have had quite a lot of activists arrested fairly recently they are short of young people who are committed to the 'cause' Perhaps young Basques don't see much advantage in being 'seperate' ?I hope it works out, its such a beautiful area but when we holidayed there (three times but at least 10years ago) as soon as you got off the main tourist drag I felt the locals were less friendly than anywhere else I have been in France - it was really odd
